Bra Measurement 1 Bra Measurement 2

1. First of all, take a tape measure and measure your underbust (remember to pull the tape measure tight!)

The underbust is the circumference of your torso just below your bust. Keep your bra on only if it is a very thin bra, it will help keep your bust lifted.
Write down this measurement because it represents your Band Size!

In the following charts, you will see which bra size it corresponds to.
For example, if your measurement is 73 cm, it will correspond to an EU 75 band size.

2. Now measure your bust circumference

That is the circumference at the fullest part, passing through the centre of the bust. We recommend taking this measurement while wearing a non-underwired bra.

Write down this measurement. It will become your Cup size!
Let's say the measurement is 92 cm — you now need to calculate the difference between this measurement and the underbust measurement taken previously (73 cm).

So: 92 - 73 = 19

Check the size charts below and you will see that it corresponds to Cup "D"
Your final size will therefore be:
EU75 CUP D

Below each chart you will find this Example again.
EU (or EUR) is the European size, it represents centimetres and is the same for all brands.

Triumph Size Chart

Measure the underbust circumference (1), then measure the bust circumference (2) horizontally, passing through the nipples.
Compare the underbust measurement with the size chart. For example, if your underbust measurement is 73 cm, this corresponds to EU 75.

Now you need to find the right cup for you.
If your bust measurement is, for example, 92 cm, calculate the difference between the two measurements: 92 - 73 = 19

In the chart on the right you can compare this result with the corresponding cup. In the case of Triumph, 19 cm corresponds to Cup D.
The correct size for you will therefore be:

PIMA COTTON

PIMA Cotton is the finest in the world.

Not all types of cotton are equal — just like coffee, cashmere or fine wines, there are different types of cotton with considerable differences in quality.

Thanks to ideal growing conditions, the particularly long fibre of 35 mm

(cotton fibres are usually between 13mm and 20mm long) and a meticulous harvesting process,

make this the finest cotton in the world.

It is prized for its extraordinary softness, delicate sheen, resistance to wear and pilling

(those unpleasant little balls that form when wearing a low-quality garment)

PIMA cotton is grown in very few countries in the world, such as the southern

United States, Peru and Australia.

SUPIMA is the name given to PIMA cotton grown exclusively in the United States of America.

ELASTANE

Garments made from fabrics containing Elastane are characterised by a perfect fit and shape retention. These features give the garment the perfect comfort for all-day wear.

 LogoMerylL50.jpg

Fabrics containing Meryl microfibre are a guarantee of a perfect fit, excellent freedom of movement and a very high degree of wear resistance. The fabric's outstanding breathability ensures an unforgettable level of comfort.

LogoMerylSkinLifeL50.jpg

Meryl Skinlife has excellent breathability and provides an unmatched feeling of freshness.

The fabric contains ultra-thin deposits of bioactive silver that exert a bacteriostatic action, even during intense physical activity, preventing the excessive formation of unwanted and harmful microorganisms, and therefore unpleasant odours.

LogoModalL50.jpg LogoMicroModalL50.jpg

Modal/Micromodal is a natural product made from plant-based raw materials that combines the advantageous properties of silk with those of cotton. Modal/Micromodal gives products a smooth surface and retains both the sheen and the brightness of soft colours over time. It has excellent moisture absorption and release, thus maintaining ideal body climate conditions. When you first touch a dress or pyjamas made from this fibre, you will be amazed! Try products in 100% Modal/Micromodal or blended with cotton and elastane, as you may find in knitwear or underwear. It will be a pleasant discovery.

LogoMicromodalAirL50.jpg

Micromodal Air Jet is the new spinning process that transforms Micromodal fibres into an extremely smooth and fine yarn. Fabrics made from this material are particularly resistant to wear and pilling (fabric balling). The brightness of colours and the delicacy of the surface remain unchanged even after numerous washes.

LogoLanaeSetaL50.jpg

Wool & Silk

Maximum comfort and well-being thanks to the warmth of wool combined with the delicacy of silk. Wool has a bacteriostatic action and absorbs moisture, thus preventing a drop in body temperature and always maintaining a warm and dry feeling on the skin.

LogoOekoTexL50.jpg

CONFIDENCE IN TEXTILES — this is the motto of the independent testing institutes belonging to the International Association Oeko-Tex® since 1992, which, through their harmful substance tests carried out on all types of textile products, guarantee that there are no health risks in accordance with the Oeko-Tex® Standard 100.

For companies in the textile and clothing sector, the Oeko-Tex® criteria catalogue offers, for the first time, a uniform and scientifically proven assessment standard for the human-ecological safety of textile products, taking into account the globalised and extremely fragmented nature of the textile supply chain.

The Oeko-Tex® label indicates to interested end consumers those clothing items and other textile products that have the added value of having been tested for harmlessness to human health. The Oeko-Tex® label therefore offers an important decision-making tool for purchasing.

Confidence in textiles — an international synonym for the responsible production of textile products from raw materials through to products sold in stores. For companies and retailers, throughout the entire textile finishing chain, as well as for buyers of fashion, functional and colourful products. (http://www.oeko-tex.com)

What is MERCERISATION

Mercerisation. A strange term for saying that...

In 1844, John Mercer discovered that the action of concentrated alkaline solutions at cold temperatures on cotton held under tension can give this natural fibre a lustrous appearance, making it much more resistant to traction (+30%), as well as more resistant and receptive to dyeing —

what could be better for the world of clothing?

Patented in 1851, it was only at the beginning of the 1900s that this discovery was used on an industrial scale and became known as Mercerisation.

The famous FiloScozia is, for example, a very high-quality yarn that is produced through mercerisation.

Care advice provided by Triumph

Fabric Softener

Fabric softener gives textiles a soft feel, but if used incorrectly it can actually cause negative effects. For example, elastane fibres contained in corsetry fabrics lose some of their elastic properties due to fabric softener, thus reducing the fabric's shaping and support effectiveness. In non-stretch synthetic fabrics, however, fabric softener is very useful as it prevents static electricity.

Tumble Dryer

In general, Triumph items can be tumble dried. However, this subjects the materials and colours to additional stress, accelerating the wear process compared to traditional line drying, which also saves energy and protects the environment.

Detergent

Correct dosing is essential — and it will save you money! Too little or too much detergent can reduce or intensify the effectiveness of the detergent itself, causing damage to fabrics. The amount of detergent to use depends on how dirty the laundry is and the hardness of the water. Correct dosage instructions are provided on the detergent packaging.

Hand Washing

The hand wash symbol means that the item is made from fibres or materials, or that the fabric has undergone finishing treatments that cannot withstand machine washing. This is the case, for example, with fabrics made from special fibres or with particular constructions such as underwired bras. During machine washing, these accessories — often metal — are subjected to excessive stress and may therefore become deformed or come out of the bra, potentially also damaging the washing machine.

Machine Washing

Pay close attention to the washing temperature recommended on the internal label on the wash symbol, which should never be exceeded. Thanks to the new generation of more effective detergents, washing at high temperatures can often be avoided.

We recommend, where the material allows:

Washing at 60°C primarily for white items and heavily soiled coloured fabrics.

Washing at 40°C for all coloured fabrics with normal soiling. Washing at this temperature ensures good preservation of materials and colours, and is more environmentally friendly.

Care and Washing for Intimate Apparel

It is essential to follow the washing instructions on the garment's internal label. We recommend washing white fabric garments with a universal detergent, following the dosage instructions on the packaging. We recommend washing coloured fabric garments with a delicate or colour-specific detergent, following the dosage instructions on the packaging. From water hardness level 2 onwards, it is advisable to add a water softener at every wash to prevent limescale deposits and avoid intimate garments taking on a greyish colour. Lace garments must be handled with care, avoiding excessive tension while putting on and taking off. It is advisable to avoid fabric softener, as it could cause the elastane fibres to lose some of their elastic properties. To avoid colour changes during washing, it is recommended to: Never wash white fabrics together with coloured fabrics, not even in pastel shades. After washing new or strongly coloured garments, run a short rinse cycle to remove all residual colouring material from the drum. Regularly clean the washing machine filter, in which traces of dye may collect. This prevents residues from returning to the drum in the next wash. Dark fabrics, especially new ones, should be hand washed before machine washing, to remove the excess dye that often characterises them. Underwired bras should only be hand washed, to avoid deformation, breakage and perforation of the fabric by the underwire, which is often metal, and potential damage to the washing machine. For hand washing, dissolve the detergent before immersing the intimate garments in water; washing should last no more than 5 minutes. Intimate garments in fabrics containing elastane are very sensitive to skin sebum and perspiration and should therefore be washed after each use.
